Steel MagnoliasThe Price is a pithy, funny and deeply moving story of two brothers reunited after many years to sort through the belongings of their long-dead father.

Victor ended up as a policeman, while Walter has risen to become a leading doctor. Victor is weary and defeated, his brother happy and successful. It soon becomes clear that the paths of their lives stem from one crucial decision made in their past.

As they dispose of an attic full of family possessions, thier mutual resentments come to the surface and painful truths are exposed - all the while circled by Victor's disappointed and pushy wife Esther and wise old furniture dealer Solomon, who tries his best to play peacemaker.
